I probably am, unless a review convinces me otherwise. I'm getting the PC version via Steam.
Oblivion bored me to tears so as long as it's not too much like Oblivion, I'll probably buy it. _________________

I must not be lured into this game's siren song solely on account of not having anything else to play. |

I'm surprised that more reviews haven't been released for it at this point. |

Yeah, I reserved a copy so I'm debating on picking it up tonight at the midnight launch, or waiting until tomorrow after class. |

I'm confused as to how people are calling this Oblivion with guns seeing as how it hasn't even been released yet and most publications haven't released a review. |

It had its problems, but I enjoyed it.

I cheated so I could jump in the air and fall for 2 minutes, that was pretty cool. I also made myself really strong and killed all the NPCs I needed to do quests.

Are the older FALL OUT games worth playing? |

Play the first one first because the second is an improvement on a lot of things and if you're anything like ME (autistic) you'll get frustrated and give up right away when you try playing the first one after the second one. |

I actually prefer the first one because I think the story is more interesting, that said ALDP is right in that there are a fair number of gameplay improvements in the sequel. |

Does it lean toward opened ended gameplay like Oblivion, or is it more linear? |

Both of them are fairly open ended (in particular the second one), but more linear than Oblivion. I would compare them more to Baldurs Gate in terms on openness and linearity.
The first game, however, places a time limit on the main quest (albeit a large one), but after you find the water chip you have a lot of leeway to just wander around and do whatever the hell you want. |
