Anyway, the music industry IS bullshit. Just recently they sent a cease and desist order to some Canadian site that provides free public domain sheet music. See, the sheet music is public domain in Canada, where the site is, but not in the EU. Anyway, the maintainer was pretty stressed running the site as is, so he just shut it down, rather than contesting their bullshit.

It should be a criminal offense to send a cease and desist for something that you have no rights to.
