Sometimes I wonder how a buffet place can stay in business. Are there really that many people who go and don't eat more than they paid for?

They probably save on labor since everything they serve can be prepared in one massive deep fryer, plus they don't need to pay for waiters.

What kind of buffet doesn't have waiters?

I actually find that they're much more attentive and do more work than those in a normal restaurant.

I know a lot of people who go to buffets and eat like a normal person, and it disgusts me!

Buffets probably make a ton of money on people who got dragged along to the buffet and are gonna pay $10 for a salad and some softserve.

I think KFC at one point had a lunch buffet and that was pretty good.

And yeah, buffets make their money by making lots and lots of shitty food at a low price.
