My first major one is one where a dream of mine came true. This is reference to an Iranian passenger plane that was "accidently" shot down by USA.

My mother's aunt and their son was on that plane.

Anyway, what happened was I had a dream a day before the incident. In that dream, a plane was flying over the sea, and a tank in the ocean first at the plane and destroys it. The dream was so real and terrifying to me, that I told my mother about it,who dismissed it. Next day, the incident occured.

A bunch of us claim our house is haunted, due to a few people having seen things. For example, many years ago, my brother woke up from a dream screaming and crying, claiming he saw a man in the corner.

My uncle, who doesnt get scared easily, says he has been sleeping and heard someone behind him eating something. He has also heard a person in the house, and was so sure that somewhere was there that his initial thought was that it was someone breaking in the house, so he got a kitchen knife to gaurd himself, but saw no one was there. And so forth with him.

Our neighbour/cousin was asked to come to our house in our absense (vacation) and water the plants. One day he says he was down, and he heard someone running upstairs, so he run out of the house.

Small weird things have occured, like one day, the bathroom door was suddenly locked from the other side. We had to bring the master key to unlock it.

I myself have had a lot of weird experiences, like something banging on the window, noises outside my room, and seeing things at night, like a person by my bed, etc.

I've not taken any of these seriously, even though I love to talk about them, because I figue its just the mind playing tricks.

However, three strange incidents occured in the space of 1-2 months, that really affected me. We'll talk about those in the next few posts!

The first incident was me sleeping on my bed, waking up, and seeing two persons in my line of sight, and in front of my bookshelf. Both were dressed in full black. My bookshelf has a small desk, so one guy was sitting on it, with his head down, while the other was looking straight at me.

While I felt an automatic chill at first, I didnt get too scared. I knew that I had just woken up, so I was in a dream haze, so it is probably something else on my bookshelf that makes it look like people. Like a shirt. So I didnt fully panic, but I tried to focus my eyes, to make out the features, and hopefully make the initial image of two people disappear, to see what I was actually looking at.

The image remained the same, and I was becoming more alert, when suddenly the person who was looking at me, grinned at me, and I could see his white teeth, thats when I paniced, and in an instant, rushed to the light switch, turned it on, looked around, and no one was there.

Sometimes after drinking binges I hear shit, and then I'm all like, ghosts, but in all actuality I'm on the verge of a seizure

And uh, I constantly see vivid imagery when I blink, but theldorrin told me that was normal, so it can't be ghosts

The second incident.

I woke up, and this time, on the same location, was a young boy sitting on the bookshelf desk. The young boy was aound my brother's age (so at that time, he would have been around 17-18), and was wearing a white shirt, and great trousers, which is the school uniform of my brother's. So my first thought was that my brother was sitting there. He was looking down.

After a few seconds of focusing, I realized it was not actually my brother, and I remembed the previous experince. I felt scared, but not panicked, and I wanted to get a better understanding on the situation, because I refused to freaked out by such things, when it can have perfectly good explanation.

So what I did was get out of bed, while my eyes were focused on the boy, and move slowly towards the light switch. But I was making sure that my eyes didn't leave him, so I could see what would happen.

He started to slowly fade away, as I moved away from him, and towards the light switch. It was a weird fade, and not like a movie. Because he seemed to start to integrate with the surroundings, like you werent exactly sure he was fading away. But when I went to the light switch and turn it on, he had gone, but there was no "He is there/he is not there" instant, because since he was slowly fading, the transition was smooth.

Now so far, I'm still King Shit, and none of these are really scaring me that much. But its the third one, that really freaks me out.

I again wake up, but this time a young girl is entering my room. I think its my sister, then I think its my cousin, as she sits on the bed besides me. I put my hand around her waist (because this is one of the cousins, I did some stuff with, but in the version I tell, I dont say this, I just say I thought it was my sister, and am forced to cencsor it out).

Anyway, I put my hands around her waist, and it is then that I realize its not my cousin, but things happen to fast for me to react. Because at that much she grabs my other hand. Instinctivly, I look at my other hand, and she has a syringe, and pushes the needle in my arm, and suddenly takes it out. Blood pours out of my arm.

This is the part that affected me the most. Because its not just seeing blood pour out of my arm, but the actual FEEL of it. I FELT the blood coming out, and I FELT my body somehow feeling weaker. So far, I'm not thinking *GHOSTS*, because things have happened so fast, and it is so real, that my first and only thought is my arm is bleeding, and its bleeding a lot!

Frantically, I use my other hand to wipe the blood off my arm, and as I am doing this, I suddenly realize that there is no blood on my arm at all. This is when I think of the girl, so I look towards my right, and she is gone.

I switched on the light, and stayed awake till morning, and since then, I still dont sleep with the door closed.

As an afterthought, here is something to think about. I told my mother this, and she said maybe the girl was bleeding some evil out of me, so I should look at it as a good experience.

Being the open-minded, western-influenced, modern guy that I am, I obviously mocked the idea.

But interestingly, that happened to be the last ghost I had seen so vididly. It almost seems like a couple of things would happen to me, with it being more and more real every time, until the girl, which then stopped.

The only other weird experience, that deals with a different thing.

In our culture, people always tell us not to talk about bad things, because it will then occur. Like you cant joke about a person dying, or even take it lightly, because that person MIGHT actually die. Obviously, I took this in a mocking manner.

But...one day we were going to have lunch with my colleagues, and we were using my friends car. When we finished lunch, and we were heading back to office, I told my colleagues that we should call the office, claimed we had an accident, and we'd go late. One guy said not to say such things as might occur, so I made fun of him. A few minutes later, the exact same thing happened. We had an accident (we hit a guy on a bike, and had to be taken to a hospital), and called the office, and went late.

I still dont 100% believe in this, but I do admit that I take care in what I say. Its probably not true, but I figure, why risk it?

Thats all my experiences.

I'm still very logical minded, but I do admit, as I get older, it seems I get more and more confused, because of first hand experiences such as these.

We can act intellectual and smarter than superstitious people, but can really claim, with full certainty, that our meager knowledge is more accurate than beliefs that have been upheld by millions of people for thousands of years.

Because I like to think that mind is a very tricky thing. Its like when you have someone who is mentally unstable, he believes he is seeing things that are not there. Just because he sees them, doesnt make them true.

Or when you do LSD, and the wall is shaking, it doesnt mean the wall is actually shaking, but your mind is making something real to you.

So, I dont like to instantly believe whatever I see, but I said, it does affect me. EVen though I will still claim to not believe in ghosts, I dont sleep with the door closed, because I dont feel comfortable anymore.

The one with the bloodletting, being uncorroborated and right after waking up in the middle of the night, sounds exactly like a dream.

I'm envious of your dream, though.

Because your mind isn't intentionally filtering shit like that out.

The near-sleep state widens the aperture of perception.

I have most of my psychic experiences when near-asleep.

I remember I did hear a crazy shriek at Pat's house. It apparently came from a place in the house where it would be impossible for a sound like that to occur.

I totally forgot about that. It WAS during some drinking...
