It is amazing how 30-year-olds today look so much younger than how an average 30-year-old looked like only about 50 years ago. 30-year-old women are still pretty attractive.

It is also strange that the older you get, the younger people start to look (who are younger than you). The girls who took over my old apartment were 22, and I asked them if they had just graduated from high school. Because they looked 18.

I've noticed the older I get the harder it is to determine the age of younger people. 18...? 20...? Who cares?

So if an older person (or even someone in their 30's or 40's) says you look young, it's not that much of a compliment since they've just lost perspective on *your age bracket*.

Old bags of shit are always saying "young" this and "young" that to me, and they obviously perceive me as being in my mid 20s or whatever, but anybody so much as two goddamn years younger than me knows instantly that I'm "older". They don't necessarily explicitly say it, but it's very sense-able.

I live in a college town full of college students, so it's very easy to TEST this in various ways, and to get the vibes.

I never feel like I'm pulling it off as "one of them" when I'm sitting in a cafe or whatever. I always get the sense that people know I'm SOMEWHAT OLDER than the college students.

But hey, check this guy out. I was reading about him today, because he got destroyed yesterday by a semi.
