I've only beaten the first two challenges, but I skipped to the one where Daisy has to shut out Waluigi. I can get down to about a minute or less left and then I get destroyed.

Scoring a goal does not help you at all.

Yes you can, but I'm not sure if it's more than 2 people on each side (I played 3 vs COM).

That being said, playing with other HUMANS on your team isn't desirable, especially if the other team doesn't have that same handicap. Too much fucking crazy shit happens in the game already and it just COMPOUNDS the DIFFICULTY not being able to pass between three players and having the last one FLIP KICK it when it gets near him since, well, you can't communicate all that shit to HUMANS in a half a second.

Of course, with human teammates you get some AWESOME DEFENSE, but the developers cleverly put a LEASH on that technique by having HITS on non-ball carriers give that team an item.
