I also like the gas station manager, but he hasn't done as well recently. I think he hurt himself or something.

Yeah, it's about a thousand times better than MXC.


Some guy got fucked by heat exhaustion and almost had to PULL OUT OF THE COMPETITION, but he refused and just managed to clear the first stage! He was weeping at the end! THIS SAME GUY ALSO BUILT HIS OWN OBSTACLE COURSE (WHICH HAS KIND OF BECOME THE NINJA WARRIOR MECCA WHERE EVERYBODY GOES TO TRAIN) AND HE TRAINS RIGOROUSLY ALL YEAR LONG.

I've actually never seen Ninja Warrior beyond the first stage besides this one movie on youtube I watched of that fisherman guy winning the whole thing. He had to fucking hang on a ledge that was about 1/2 inch wide and shimmy across pretty much only using the tips of his fingers to hold himself up!

Also I hate the commercials for Ninja Warrior that G4 airs. It's like they were made by people who'v never even seen the show but made some shit up based on the title!

Yeah, Ninja Warrior is incredible. FISHERMAN is apparently Japan's most manly profession.

My favorite is MAKOTO NAGANO (FISHERMAN) and the GAS STATION GUY. It's so awesome just because he's a gas station manager that he's forced to do this contest in khakis and a red polo shirt.

Since there's only 100 contestants per tournament, I assume the more gaudy and ridiculous you look the better the chance you get to compete.
