The joke wasn't the joke. Of course the joke itself wasn't funny.

The joke was to BRING ATTENTION to the joke, to mockingly act as if he wanted it to be recognized as funny, even though it was just some typical throwaway AIM thing.

I used to do the "Haha, wasn't that funny?" thing a lot, but nobody ever gets that I am making fun of the very idea of something unfunny being funny.

People just literally think I'm saying "wasn't that funny?"

Native Italian words all end with a vowel, which is generally "o" for adjectives

Unless it ends with ista, in which case it ends with "a" regardless of gender!

I would have guessed that Romanian is the closest Romance language to Latin, but it's more Romantic for me to believe that Italian is.

Italian is second on my list of languages to learn next. It moved up because Spanish won't be incredibly useful in Japan and I'm going to be trying to learn as many languages as possible there. It's still behind French though.
