I remember reading it (I bought the huge book that was all of the trilogy) and not really liking it. The part with the one thousands trolls or whatever kind of spoiled it for me, because basically they were all invincible.

I tried to read the Icewind Dale trilogy and I hated it. I read the Dark Elf trilogy, and while I liked the first book the second was insipid and the third forgot to have a plot.

Warhammer 40,000 IS manly. There's a weapon called a chainsaw fist and basically the entire Space Valhallian shit that Vinny wrote is how Space Marines are made.

And I think only one or two are from other books. The rest are from the actual 3rd edition rulebook, and obviously the ones about psykers and ALIENS aren't from anything else.
