The normal "sucky bullshit guy that sucks but gets hot babes anyways" storyline is given a slight twist in that all of his relationships make his shittiness even stronger. New show this season about a regular high school guy who is the hero that can pilot a giant robot by groping breasts, which is what I got from it from the first episode. He apparently can go Kaio-ken when he starts to grope. The bad guys are perverted penguin dudes who pilot a robot with a cock cannon.

So, is it last year yet? Because have you guys seen this Attack On Titan thing? Out of this world!

I was obsessed with the manga briefly because it seemed to be building toward an outcome rather than Bakiing around, but now the characters are asking stupid questions and the author is giving stupid answers. Currently outstanding hinted issues include a titan homeland, a titan government, supernatural mass hallucinations, worldwide conspiracy in order to unite humanity, worldwide conspiracy to accomplish some other goal that's more important than humanity, and some kind of brutal yeti general. Instead of any of that we're getting some bullshit nobody asked for about the royal family, and Eren's mind control powers, and the royal family's mind control powers.

I've never seen Attack on Titan, but the girls wear these sexy outfits which consist of tight pants and a Vinny-approved amount of belts which seem to serve no practical function other than to squeeze their breasts together.

They do, but mostly they're just a requirement of using devices that rely on grappling hooks and moving their entire body weight around at every conceivable angle. I'd actually say that Attack on Titan has very little fanservice compared to almost any other anime I can think of. I can't recall anything that was glaringly pandering. Even the (SPOILERS) female titan seemed natural.

I watched about two episodes of Attack on Titan and it seemed alright. None of the actual human characters were all that interesting but watching several variations of that big, red cannibal from Samurai Shodown V eat people was very enjoyable.

Naoki Urosawa's stuff is pretty asexual. 20th Century Boys has like, one kiss in it, at the very end, and the only scantily clad characters are haggard drag queens. There's one boob shot total, and it's that mannish high ranking Friend lady with the short hair and huge chin. I think either Urosawa is afraid of girls, or he's less afraid of girls than every other mangaka.

I like Attack on Titan for the most part so far, but I do wish in the last ten or twenty years anime had moved beyond the anime thing of having one event happen per episode and spending the rest of the time having the characters expound on it. Spending three episodes on the stand-off between the kids and insane shitty guy during the Battle of Trost really disillusioned me about the pacing.
