In 13 years (but let's be honest, more like 6 months of it actually being something actively happening in front of my eyes), I have never noticed that his name was misspelled.

Hey guys. Life sucks.

After my dad died from a random brain tumor, one uncle died from a sudden heart attack, and another after breaking his neck in the Philly subway, I quit my job in DC, drove out to Portland, OR, and am working on my writing among the hipsters until I apply to PhD programs next fall. Also, at some point, my girlfriend of the past year dumped me because she didn't love me. So I got that going for me!

How're you all doing?

Literary theory, most likely. Specifically, the development of the modern protagonist in American fiction over the last fifty years. From there, I will have to focus on something even more specific, but its a start.

It is probably a bad idea to get a PhD, though. I should probably just be a high school teacher. But life seems to be pushing me in this direction.
