Man, this new fucking book!

Ramsay Bolton really crosses the line of vileness. I mean, even somebody like Gregor Clegane was kind of awesome/hilarious in his over-the-top monstrousness, but Jeyne Poole promising she'll do whatever Ramsay wants with him or the dog basically just made me want to murder myself.

It's going to be great when it turns out that "the dragon has three heads" refers to Littlefinger, Ramsay Bolton, and Ser Robert Strong, and they're the only humans left alive (or, uh, not alive) in Westeros.

Honestly, Theon's redemption in the book is awesome.

I agree. My favorite moment in the entire book was the first chapter heading that comes up as "Theon" instead of "Reek".

The book could have done with less Meerenese politics and more dragons melting people.

There are some guesses out there that Jon will warg into Ghost for a while and his body will be burned and turn into the fire lord messiah. Sounds like a possibility since Melissandre (or however you spell her fucking name) kept seeing Jon Snow in her visions when trying to see Stannis as the savior, and what else was the point of the prologue with the warg remembering how he had jumped between bodies.

So, is Coldhands Benjen Stark?

And I agree with MJ about that death sucking, and for the same reason. Although if Jon Snow is actually somehow dead, it would be the biggest fuck you to a fanbase in the history of fiction, or at least since Akira Toriyama killed Vegeta solely because fans begged him not to.
