Imagine a person with no long term memory. He has to remember everything he has ever done or accomplished by writing it down in a journal. He finds out that he has laughed, hated, loved, lost it all etc etc. Eventually, he's like fucking screw it and throws the damn book away.
And then he goes catatonic because humanity cannot exist without it's perception of time. Go ahead - go for an entire day without pretending there is a future or a past. You'll probably be depressed and not want to do anything. Fucking DO IT |
