I was thinking that myself, but you never know!

I even searched for it, but the search function here isn't ROBUST enough to handle something as incredibly complicated as finding a post that contains both the words "wow" and "just" (even though the instructions on the search page tell you how you would, theoretically, do that, but then of course it would have to actually WORK, and the tradition is to have a broken search function at all incarnations of Fagtown).

And you can forget actually putting a phrase in quotes. What are they, wizards? Is this the year 2000 or something???

It can do "wow" OR "just" though! Boy can it ever!

Man, I just love looking for a particular word, and then getting matches for every single post from a thread whose title contains that word.

Or not being able to search for filenames (such as scruffysecond.jpg!), but instead having to engage in hours-long post sifting and brain-wracking to remember when and where something was posted.

That's just from the top of my head.

Why doesn't somebody just install a Google search bar in here? It's not like it's hard. Or Theldorrin could rewrite the search engine to be not-shitty.

And it's one thing for software to be ancient, but it's kind of bizarre that they would release software which includes components that literally aren't functional.

It's like, "OK everybody! We're finished! Download phpBB version (whatever) now! Oh, by the way, Search basically doesn't work. It sort of does, but not really. Enjoy!"

I don't think I have ever heard this word used outside of some piece of journalism about the economy, or advertising/packaging for a product (specifically in the context of how the product will be "easier on" it than a competing product).

What's annoying is that it's writing that's simply taking its cue from other writing, rather than (god forbid) the actual world.

Where people use WALLETS.

I wanted to try out more search shit, because the all option doesn't seem to work for that query either and I could have sworn that it worked in the past, but then I got tired of having to wait in between queries.
