When Mmmbop first came out, was there controversy among your PEERS as to whether the middle one was a girly boy or a beautiful girl?

I thought the drummer was a girl. And a cute girl too! I can't remember if I thought the middle one was a girl, I think I was on the fence.

Taylor (the pretty one/keyboardist/usual lead singer) is nowadays the faggiest, which was to be expected from day one.

He likes to wear SCARVES. At the concert he was wearing a light scarf and was barefoot, scampering around the stage.

Back in the day, Zac (the drummer) looked like a little monkey to me. Some say he's now the cutest (he's the one Lexy is crushin' on the most). Zac is a sissy with a high-pitched little pussy voice, but he's not a sissy in a faggy way like Taylor.

Now Isaac (the old one/guitarist), now we're talkin'! Isaac was BY FAR the ugliest when they first came out, like scary ugly, and in my opinion, he's now dashingly handsome and the best looking of the three! He wears suits and/or vests with ties all the time and has the manliest voice.

When Mmmbop hit there was no controvery about gender among my peers because I was 20.

I have this friend that is into metal and industrial like NIN and shit, but absolutely fucking loves Hanson. When asked about it he's just like "I dunno, they're legitimately good musicians and shit!" and had a Hanson ticket stub proudly tacked to the wall at his old house.
