Anyways, ehhhhhh. Are you asking me how I feel about them now or historically? I guess they've been reduced to just another ethnic minority with negligible presence in China, so w/e. The area I lived in actually had a pretty sizable Manchu population and they seemed to live HARMONIOUSLY enough with the local Han. Also this Manchu girl that hung around the academy was hella good looking, and all of us would try to get with her constantly and I think we all failed.

The way they fit into Chinese history and shit is kind of weird. I think most people don't realize that the China that opened up to the west and got its shit pushed in by the Opium Wars and all that was actually a foreign dynasty. It's also weird that most things people associate with China, like the qipao and magua and the queue are all Manchurian. The ethnic Han should start wearing robes again.
