The guy is offering psychic reading at 9 dollar a minute. He has 23,918 reviews. So at minimum, I'd say he has had that many customers and at minimum we'd say he only chatted one minute per person. Both these assumptions are bare minimum since many people will use a service without a review and I'd doubt readings are done at one minute, probably closer to 10. But using these worst case scenario assumptions, the guy has made 215,262 dollars.

No, it doesn't involve much research because leaving out details can add mystery and make people think it's more legit.

Also, you can just be super eclectic and take stuff from a dozen or so different traditions.

New-agers don't even care that Chi, Orgone, universal life energy, chaos magick, etc aren't really consistent with each other, because they have their view of 'many paths'.

I'm kind of dating someone who is a new-ager right now, and he's a nice guy, but when topics like this come up I end up pissing him off because I make no qualms about the fact that all this shit is completely ridiculous.

Also, Madali, there are plenty of free websites that teach spells on the internet as I understand it.

I've discovered that most people are so awful at searching that they essentially can only visit things that are linked directly, or are for very big sites.


That's why people say that Facebook or Twitter may replace a search engine, because they honestly get better results by asking and hoping that someone who knows how to use the web will give them the right link.

A cleansing spell for your mind in order to help you seem what you're looking for. Drop in some references to craniosacral therapy and the brow chakra and you're good to go.

Or you could go direct and talk about influencing the machines directly. I can't remember what that is classified as. Maybe technomagick? That seems wrong to me for some reason.


Are you selling the spell itself for them to use, or are you selling them the idea that you used the spell on them?

The problem with that, Psaturn, is that college hipsters don't have a lot of money, and they're too busy spending what they do have on tight pants and black shirts.

Theldorrin, the idea is sort of a mixture of both. It is supposed to be a unique spell tailored to their particular character and needs and probably has a time limit. I'll do a song and dance routine where I ask them a bunch of random questions, maybe make them wait 1-2 days while we are preparing the spell, and then give it to them.

Obviously making money out of the internet is not easy, but this particular niche seems to be filled with 90s looking geocities websites. Not surprising, since people thinking of doing such a business are not exactly young techno-savy yuppies.

It could be a resounding failure, but the reason I'm choosing this over my other ideas is that the start-up investment or the technical ability is much lower than my other ideas. If this works, I can use the money to try out other things.

Its like penis enhancement pills from those spam. It seems like such a retarded idea, but its a good business. I had a client in Dubai who was partnered in this venture. His only part in the business was offering logistic to such clients. The clients would import generic pills from India to his warehouse in UAE and give him a list of customers to forward the pills too. He'd call me (as I was working in a logistic company), give me the list of addresses and we'd forward them. All he had was one warehouse to store the pills and one employee to help package and sort them. And he was making easy money on them, given that he was a middle aged indian driving a sports car.

My whole gamble is that my site uses a different approach to the wiccan style websites. Now, the test of the service will be DOES the potential market want a different service or do they associate the need for spells with a particular image? If its the latter, then my site will be a failure, but if there is a particular group of people that are open to spells but for some reason are not really attracted to the current service providers, then it might be something I can tap into.
