This was pretty okay!

I guess I mainly enjoyed it for the horrific hallucinations, and because the story wasn't dull. It wasn't a GREAT story, it just didn't bore me. Which is something.

And Leo makes any movie easier on the eyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought there was already a thread about this, but whatevs.

I was actually surprised by the ending. I mean, I was kinda thinking something like that in the beginning, but when he chills with that doctor bitch in the cave, I was like, "Oh, I guess this IS really happening. Huh." But then... not really!!!!!!

I called it pretty early on that Leo was crazy, but I admired the fact that they pulled off the twist without it being hokey or having it negate previous events in the movie. It was like a non-horrible version of the ending to High Tension.

That part came so long before the end of the movie (THIS IS WHY IT'S GOOD TO KNOW EXACTLY HOW LONG A MOVIE IS AND EXACTLY HOW CLOSE YOU ARE TO THE END) I thought it was going to be a double-twist, where no, he wasn't crazy after all, they just successfully convinced him that he was.

And I said, to the people I was watching it with, "I CAN ALREADY SEE IT COMING, WHAT'S ABOUT TO HAPPEN. I CAN SEE IT ALREADY."

And then like a minute later the credits started rolling and I didn't say anything.

High Tension's ending is fucking stupid, but I liked High Tension a lot!
