I just don't see how it could be that hard.
It's the Louvre, not Fort Knox! |

The point isn't that I want the Mona Lisa, by the way. I don't want that shit!
I just wonder what kinds of things I could do with enough determination. What things are WITHIN MY CAPABILITIES. |

Well, if you think you can develop the skills and connections necessary to steal one of the most famous pieces of art in history from one of the most famous museums on the planet in just a few months, you might as well try, right?
But considering you're a fat 30-something who has never stolen anything of value in his life, it's a bit of a long shot. |

Chris, you need to set your sights lower at first. Remember your plan to impersonate a high school student, and attend classes without being noticed? You should do that. It could be your Hyperbolic Time Chamber to level up your determination |

Chris do you even have a passport?
Shit, man, just think how expensive a plane ticket to London is! |

I don't know if I'd qualify it by saying 'one of'. I think the Mona Lisa is the most famous work of art in the world. And the Louvre is probably the most famous museum, too. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

In 1911, some fucking wop chump just took it!
Some employee of the Louvre, who wanted the Mona Lisa for Italy as a patriotic duty, just snuck it out of there one night under his coat!
If he can do it, I'm sure I could come up with some kind of Ocean's Eleven scheme for getting it.
Can you imagine how satisfying that would be though? Just to steal it and put it on your wall like any other painting, and you're like, "oh, yeah, that's the real Mona Lisa, that's the original. Didn't you hear about it being stolen? That was me," and everyone would think you were joking, only you weren't!
And even if you got caught, you'd be famous, so it's win-win. |

Chris, you do realize that's one of the reasons why the Mona Lisa is the most famous painting. The current security around it is quite intense. It basically has a room to itself and is behind like a foot-thick piece of bullet-proof glass.
A real challenge would be to steal Guernica from the Prado. Thing is gigantic. |

I think it'd be most impressive to steal the statue of David. _________________ @}-,-'- *~*~* Member of the FTU Elegant Tea Party Society *~*~* -'-,-{@ |

David's penis is very small, Chris, compared to his stature. And if you look at his face at his level, he looks ashamed and bashful! |

Another thing that would be neat is to build a trap in the ground, hide in the bushes, and watch as it traps some dumb fucker! |
