It was OK but kind of crap. The rules of dream metaphysics are so specific and wrong-headed, the climax is hilariously convoluted, and all the good guys are invincible except when the opposite is needed. But in the end it's pretty people having special effects so it can't be that bad.

The only real problem that I have with this movie is that when Fischer gets shot by Mol in the Shadow Moses dream, why does that dream world keep existing? How can he be in limbo and in his other dream at the same time? Like, the first dream is the Indian guy's, that's why he's driving the van. The second dream is JGL's, that's why he plants the bombs. Cobb tells Ariadne in the beginning of the third level that it's Fischer's (baby faced creepazoid's) dream. Shouldn't everyone go to limbo when he does?

The movie was awesome regardless. I don't think it's Christopher Nolan's GREATEST MASTERPIECE, but I think it is one of the best movies to have come out in the last five years, certainly one of the best blockbusters.

The movie took the idea to such an absurd level that it quickly became laughable. A good chunk of the movie is basically just trying to fit in as much explanation for what will happen in the movie as they possibly can, to explain the events in their made-up world, and it just seems like it moves too fast and it feels forced because they're trying to cram it all in.

Then it moves in to the "action" phase, but it's a BORING kind of action. We already know what their plan is, and they're just executing it, and so it's only a matter of sitting and watching them do what we already know they're going to do. And all the god damn slow motion...

I didn't care about any of the characters, they were all worthless. I guess we're supposed to care about Leo's character, but he's really just a whiny bitch and his plotline is annoying and predictable.

It felt like there was no real "climax." There were no real enemies or antagonists, except for the made-up dream goons, so it was hard for me to care or experience suspense. Everything happened as they all wanted it to, there were no surprises. And it was obvious that they were trying to freak people out with the stupid cop-out ending.
