You know I started to have a desire to play some JRPGs lately too.
I've been wanting the check out the Tales of... series, and I want a PSP so I can play the first Star Ocean game. I few months ago I did get Dragon Quest 4 and 5 on the DS so that helped.

Dragon Quest games are awesome, the only one I need to complete in the series is 6.
The only Tales game worth playing is Tales of Symphonia. |

Wrong. Vesperia (Xbox360) and Abyss (Playstation II) are absolute tits. And don't bring up the loading issue, D.Payne! It's negligible.
Eternia (Destiny II in North AmeriKKKa) is also pretty great. You would have to play it with a Playstation emulator, though. Which is something you can run off the PSP!
The Persona games (3 and 4) are also a good way to go. |

| Also, Tales of Graces will eventually come out for the Wii and looks pretty great. Arc Rise Fantastia, ALSO FOR THE WII, is out in July and plays exactly like a Tales game. |

Well aside from the fact that none of the Abyss characters are remotely likable, the load times are fucking horrendous. If you can deal with that I guess it's okay (certainly better than Legendia).
Abyss killed me for picking up more games in the series though. |

Yeah Vesperia is one I'm kind of interested in, and I might pick it up for really cheap at some point.
We should play online co-op if I get it Seru. It'll make the experience even slower and more painful. |
