I do not need it because I go to the VA and since I have no job I have 100% free healthcare but they are not for insurance.

Poor people get medicaid. And there are subsidies for people that aren't quite that poor.

Basically everyone is covered, because that's very important for it to work economically. Otherwise people would just wait until they were sick and game the system.

This is probably just the beginning. There will probably be a separate public option bill, which may not be quite as difficult to pass like 5 years from now if things go well.
