| This movie was fucking horrendous. I know it looked sappy in trailers but it was beyond all expectations in how insipid it was. I wouldn't even care if this were a Lifetime movie (which it totally is) but the goddamn thing is being hailed as one of the BEST OF THE YEAR. Every goddamn actor in the movie existed only to smile like a diphsit as Sandra bullock went through her schtick of being an aggressively horrible cunt. The racial and political messages were like having some guy sitting on your shoulders stabbing you in the ear canals with pencils. The entire movie is the equivalent of watching one of those youtube videos of kittens frolicking only you replace kittens with obnoxious piles of shit. I realize this was based on true events but it could not have been presented in a more infuriatingly stupid and sappy manner. |

This got a Best Film nomination because they amped it up to 10 nominations a year and filled the extra spots with movies people have seen in order to attract more viewers.
