Chris, about the boar thing, I remember reading that the original script made a point at the end that the entire planet was like a single organism (which was talked about with the PLANET'S NERVOUS SYSTEM) and it was TEAMING UP to eliminate intruders. However, they took out this line because it didn't leave room for a sequel since humanity decided that they could never take the planet because the entire planet was against them.

I don't think any news outlet has presented that story as anything other than some bullshit article that goes in the miscellaneous entertainment section, shit it's not even anywhere on the front page of CNN.

Meanwhile there's REAL NEWS on the front page of these sites and publications that's pretty important, like the earthquake in Haiti, but hey I guess you don't care about that cause you'd rather be another cynical cracka on the internet
