Just how dangerous are these fuckers anyway?

I just read that you basically can't swim in fresh water in Florida due to the danger of gators, and they even get into people's swimming pools!

Fuck that! Holy shit.

It's one thing to have to deal with insects and spiders, but a man-eating fucking creature?

Fuck Florida, on yet another level.

I remember hearing that urban legend about some lady who would feed the alligators in the river behind her house with leftover tablescraps until one day she didn't and they came up onto her property looking for food and killed/ate her. The killed/ate part seems like BS but the rest of it sounds pretty plausible!
