I do the same thing with laundry although my willingness to put away laundry as soon as it's done varies a lot for reasons unknown to me.

In Santa Cruz, it costs $8-$900 to live in a one bedroom (or studio) pile of shit, $12-$1800 for two bedrooms.

I am very, very lucky right now to have a $1100 2 bedroom place. It's really unheard of.
