Pride was a piece of shit and people who like it are absolutely retarded and know next to nothing about mma.

It was full of roiding ass gays (because Japan has no drug testing policy), and it allowed insane things like soccer kicks (kicking people that were down and stomping their heads) that were incredibly dangerous. The scoring system was shady, and most of the fights that went to decision had ridiculously controversial results because Pride never developed any real way of keeping track of who was actually winning the fights.

Also, the talent was extremely overrated to because most of the fighters (with the exception of a few like Rampage Jackson) have failed miserably in the UFC. Fedor (the most famous fighter in Pride) was offered a ridiculous sum of money to fight in the UFC and he passed on it because he knew fighters like Lesnar and Carwin would destroy him.

This shit drives me crazy because it's that same old crap where someone can point to something obscure and rather unknown and then boast about how they are into it and how much better it is than the big mainstream thing that is currently popular. Faggots!
