What's terrible about people freaking out in regards to this buyout is how they try to be cynical. Really! Disney, in spite of everything, likes to make money. Why the hell do these people think they will do something as stupid as change the overall presentation and pitch of Marvel Comics?

And when did I say anything about what Disney will do to Marvel's shit? I don't give a fuck about that.

My problem with this is that it's one more step in the march of a mega-corporation slowly absorbing everything in its path.

Within 30 years, there will be a single corporation that owns/controls each sector of human life: we'll have The Energy Corporation, The Entertainment Corporation, the Consumer Goods/Housewares Corporation, The Automobile Corporation, The Food Corporation, etc.

It's a fucking nightmare.
