has anyone else installed it? It looks like Vista and I am too used to using XP to commit just yet, though i will give it a 30-day trial run on my laptop. I don't like what 7 did to the taskbar, everything moves around. 7 does start up a lot faster than both XP and Vista. I also like the search in 7, it's nearly instantaneous.

I don't know what you mean about it 'looking like Vista'. My Vista is almost identical to Windows XP, except with a slightly different skin.

I'm not going to upgrade to Windows 7, obviously. I spent too much money on Vista to spend the same amount on 7 in such a short amount of time.

I may switch over fully to Linux, though.

I don't have Photoshop.

Also, it's unseemly for someone in the software industry to pirate. I can also write off the cost, and I don't have to worry about updates and whatnot.

Theldorrin, Widows 7 is a free trial right now. So it won't cost you anything to try it out.

I mean 'looks like vista' in that the default theme of 7 was very similar in appearance to the default Vista theme. All bubbly frames and taskbars and such like.

I changed it to Classic view of course!

I don't understand the draw of a free trial. Are people seriously willing to format their computer after a few months to try it out, or is there some way to easily revert to your previous OS?
