There should be a test account that's automatically set in your contact list when you install it, and it plays back your message for you so you can see if you can hear as well as if they can hear you.

So....instead of eating today, I drank fermend mongolian horsemilk. It doesnt have much alcohol though

So, I've been thinking about what Roy said, and decided to quit being a pussy and go out in to the wilderness where no amenities are.

I can't just reserve a tent, so I will have to bring my own as a backup. SO here is my list:

1. A tent
2. A knife (for protection from dogs and nomads)
3. Sleeping bag
4. More medicine and nutrients (why not I guess I'll get some ginsing or biloba)
5. Travel insurance
6. A phone (if it works out there)
7. BOOTS
8. A few gifts for any mongols I may come across
9. My mongol language book
10. Everything else I packed
11. Water
12. Compass
13. JOURNAL (I wont be posting at FTU see, they don't really have internet out there)

I'll exchange a few gifts for food, but largely subsist off of horse milk.

Wild water just needs to be boiled, but I am not any good at hunting.

Sheep testicles are a luxury there, so its a sign of great hospitality to be offered them. If i FUCKING NEW HOW TO HUNT I would be set, but for now Ill just have to bring plenty of money (borrowed of course).

As for cleaning my clothes in the wild, is it really clean to use river water? Hell, Ill just pay for that too; if I dont have any human contact for that long dirty clothes are the least of my problems.

Preparing is expensive, but it I LEARN how to go through with this lifestyle it will be well worth it.
