My brother has this inexplicable obsession with the Transformers movie. We both watched the cartoon and had the toys as kids, but he didn't like it any more than I did, and it's not like he continued following it after the fad passed. It's weird because he's this super laid back guy who never gets excited about anything, then suddenly he comes back from watching a mediocre Michael Bay action flick and is all, "OH MY GOD OH MY GODDDD TRANSFORMERS BEST MOVIE EVER MADE111111" he bought a Blu Ray just so he could watch that bullshit in high definition!

Is he crazy, or do other people here have really strong feelings about the Transformers movie?

Yeah it's weird how some people react like that. My friend never really showed any visible interest in Transformers for as long as I knew her, but then he went to the premiere of the first movie in a homemade Optimus Prime costume.

Mike Dunn, it's more polite to refer to transexuals by the gender that they've selected than as both male and female.

And, the response that these movies have gotten, the money they have made, is absolutely inexplicable.

But, as we learned from Fast and Furious, never underestimate something that will appeal to billions of Mexicans, and be very afraid of something that their children will also get excited about.
