A biopic of the life of Jesco White, an Appalachian dancer whose childhood consisted of huffing fumes and being sent to reform schools. Following a stay at the loony bin due to a freakout from having a 400-pound biker inject him with amphetamines, he grows up and is released into the real world. However, he brain is permanently damaged and so the viewer is led on his spiral into insanity and self-destruction.

A truly intense and disturbing film. You initially sympathize with the character, but begin to realize that his narration is partially fueled by his delusions and are left to see the chaos unfold. The soundtrack sounds like Delta Blues as performed by a psychiatric patient, which perfectly complements Jesco's consumption of brain damaging substances and his irrational actions. My top Fantasia movie so far.

Kids go up to a cabin in the snowy mountains of Norway in order to drink and have a good time. That is until...NAZI ZOMBIES! Nuff said.

What starts off as a fairly straightforward horror turns into a very enjoyable Evil Dead-esque splatterfest with flying zombie parts everywhere. The Nazi concept could have been used for further comedic purposes, but I guess they wanted to deal with the issue the safest way possible. Would have been nice to have at least seen them goosestep though. The fact that these zombies also seem to be much smarter and resourceful that the typical sort as well as the fact they don't make people into zombies by biting them are nice and original touches. Filled with awesome scenes like a guy hanging from a cliff by zombie intestines and a first-person perspective of waking up and groggily finding out zombies are in the process of eating your intestines. Would have gotten higher marks if it didn't make over 45 minutes to pick up. They should have gone all-out wacky from the start rather than playing it so straight.

A girl, happily running to her first day at her new school, is hit by a truck and dies. She is transported to Hell where she must attend an afterlife high school with demon children and run by the evil Headmaster Helvis (A devil Elvis). So naturally this all ends with the story of Cain and Abel coming to it's millennium long conclusion while the willpower of mankind is put to the test.

The animation's really nice, with a hand-drawn style that looks like a Bill Plympton anime. Anything entertaining ceases to happen after the 40 minute mark when they introduce the biblical references and it degrades into complete and utter bullshit. The movie prattles on so long about nothing than even the Fantasia crowd (that usually laps up your typical Japanese garbage) was becoming restless. The only laugh or other positive feedback that was present in the second half of the movie was when some French dude in the crowd yelled "WE'RE the ones in Hell!". Bad. Very bad.

A frustrated B-movie director (David Hess, the main villain from the original Last House on the Left), tired of people saying his movies look unrealistic and terrible, begins a murder spree in order to provide more believable gore for his slasher films. Meanwhile, a young reporter (Sasha Grey, professional fornicator) and a private detective are looking into these mysterious disappearances that are apparently tied into this director. Grey is cast as the heroine of his latest film, unaware that the props she is forced to hold are actual human organs.

Directed by Lee Demarbre, creator of high-brow cinema masterpieces like Jesus Christ Vampire Hunter and Harry Knuckles and the Pearl Necklace, this movie is totally retarded and yet pretty good at the same time. It serves as a tribute to Herschell Gordon Lewis, the godfather of splatter films. This goes over my head since I'm not really familiar with those movies, but it's not hard to guess what the original material is like. The acting is god awful (Sasha Grey in particular should be banned from mainstream movies) and much of the plot doesn't make sense. I found the movie funny, but will definitely not appeal to that too many people out of its sheer idiocy. I would have rated it higher, but I think I liked this movie more than the rest of the crowd.

As a bonus, the director, Hess and Grey were all present before and after the movie for Q&A. Sadly, I didn't stay for all of it as the movie ended around 2:00 AM and I had a bus to catch. For the parts where I was present, the director seemed a lot funnier and more clever than his movies let on, Hess acted like his was mentally retarded (walking and talking included) and Grey seemed completely indifferent (why fly across the continent to see the premiere of a purposely shitty movie, then look bored?). If you see this movie, do it at a midnight show like I did or get a bunch of people to watch it too. It will likely suck alone.
