From what I've seen, the forum isn't actually that bad. I mean it's easy to go unghhh internet comedy website community but the $10 fee seems to keep out all the RIFFRAFF and I've seen some neat things that GOONS have made, so there's that.

Bet I'd be willing to make: there will never again be a comedy website even half as successful in terms of hits/revenue as those that currently exist.

Maybe if it's attached to some kind of corporate/media company, maybe, but the days of grassroots shit are over.

In other words, if you haven't already MADE IT, you never will.

This applies to other categories of websites too, but yeah, comedy is done.
