Every once in a while, I decide its time to play some PC games, but because I'd be out of the loop, I dont know whats what.

I've downloaded and started playing "Call of Duty 5: World At War" and I enjoy the CoD series, so this was an easy pick, but what else has been released for the past two years which is any good?

Nothing seems to be that interesting.

I recently got Victoria and installed that again. It's pretty neat. Like Europa Universalis.

I found Europa Universalis kind of retarded and overcomplicated. I liked Total War a lot more, but then I got Total War 2 and it was all different and I was like "Huhr?"

I enjoy Left 4 Dead but the fun comes from playing on the internet other than that Fallout 3 is good and I still play Diablo II

Theldorrin, is Victoria overly complicated to get the hang off? Because nowadays I dont have the patience like when I was a teenager.

Buis, I dont want to play Left4Dead because it seems to be heavily focused on multiplayer. I dont play games to be social. I play games for myself, I fucking hate this overly focus on multiplayer games.

I think Victoria is more complicated than Europa Universalis, but I'm not certain.

What you should do is look at some Let's Play threads at Something Awful and see if anything interests you.

You should try Oblivion. I can give you a list of great mods for it, too because the original game is bullshit.

A Playstation emulator, there's literally thousands of games which would probably be illegal to link to but not the emulator itself EPSXE. Don't forget the bios.

Supreme Commander is a good RTS.

You should get TF2 and join the FTU stream group. It's on sale this week for 20.00.

If you computer can run COD, it should be able to run any of these just fine.

I hated Oblivion. It just annoyed the fuck out of me knowing that the monsters were getting stronger as I was getting stronger.

Also, I think Im sick of open-ended RPG games. I like RPG games to be more linear. When games claim you can do anything you want, it just means you can do boring quests, run around in empty forests, and collect shit items.

Yeah, that's why I modded Oblivion, so the monsters don't level up as you do. It somehow still works out to be adventurous, too.
