Does anyone remember the Gay News story about the homeless guy that some lady hit, and he went through her windshield, and she just drove the rest of the way home and left him there in her garage stuck in the windshield until he died?

They made a goddamn MOVIE out of it.

It's called "STUCK".

Lexy and I watched it last night and I heartily recommend it!

What I liked about the experience of watching this movie is that I knew nothing about it beforehand, absolutely nothing, except the title. Somebody just gave me a burned copy of the disc. Oh yeah, and I also knew that Mena Suvari was in it. But that's all.

So it starts, and I'm like, "anything can happen in this, it can be about anything, and in any genre. I have no clue."

It made me realize how rarely that happens, and how much better it makes a movie to know absolutely NOTHING going in, and how that's basically impossible unless someone hands the movie to you in exactly this way and doesn't say a word.

Even a glimpse of packaging basically tells you everything.

We should start a group that finds rare movies and burns them onto blank disks and trades them, and we can all watch movies without knowing anything about them going into it.

That's pretty incredible that that happened, and it turned out to be a GAY NEWS movie, though.

I know, that's what I was thinking!

I was watching it, and the movie starts off saying "Based on a true story." and as it went on, the premise started to feel vaguely familiar, and I was like, "this.... wait a minute... I SWEAR I REMEMBER SOMETHING LIKE THIS FROM GAY NEWS..."

I guess the most humbling part is the realization that Gay News has been around long enough for a movie to have been made about one of the stories.

It's actually very FAGTOWNY and everyone should watch it.

It has a very strong black humor/"life is a nightmare" feel, in general.

I completely agree. I always like when I know very little about something I'm reading or watching. My wife has really good taste, so it has happened a few times that she will just rent a movie that I know nothing about, but that she has heard is really good.
