Man, I want to cross-stitch now. I should probably stick with knitting though.

But the cross-stitching reminds me of when I made shit out of beads, except I suspect it's much less annoying to move around. And you don't need a god damn iron.

I have some very soft bamboo yarn that I'm going to eventually make into a scarf for myself, but that's far in the future.

Or maybe I was going to make a hat. I can't even remember.

My first scarf is so crappy it's basically only fit for a homeless person.

I started knitting last summer.

I've been working on a scarf for a while, that I need to just buck up and finish.

It's an easy project to put on hold for stretches of time though, since it's the same two rows over and over, so it's easy to figure out where I left off.

I haven't tried anything terribly complicated yet, though. I want to make more hats, and maybe a sweater.
