What is this shit with Americans and their excessive fucking showering?

You absolutely don't need to shower once a day or more, unless you are in a filthy trade, or have been sweating a lot, or have some other SPECIFIC REASON to shower. But just showering every day, out of habit, it's ridiculous. It's just typical spoiled, pussy ass American fastidiousness.

It's the same thing that makes people not wear the same t-shirt (or worse, pants) two days in a row. Oh, is it time to put baby's shirt in the washing machine? Even though you were fucking sitting there fucking sedentary and cool the entire 16 hours you wore it, but apparently the shirt became radioactive once you took it off to go to bed? How about you be forced to wash your clothes by hand? Then let's see how your standards of cleanliness suddenly change, once it actually takes work or inconvenience to clean something.

Get out of my face you fucking babies. And stop throwing away perfectly good food while you're at it.

So wasteful and terrible and spoiled.

The longer I go without washing my hair, the more my head becomes a perpetual dandruff machine. Plus I just like to shower! It's relaxing and warm. ACTUALLY one thing that pisses me off about society is how stupid neo-hippies think the best way to rebel against it is to stop wearing deodorant and stop washing their hair. There's a whole subculture of extremely promiscuous self-righteous douchebags who relate to one another based on how gross they are and how much they don't like anything having to do with the word "profit".

While being unemployed, I've gone down to about two showers a week. I only wash my face sometimes, like if I'm going out somewhere, or if I'm in the shower anyway.

It's actually been great! I don't smell or anything, and it's improved my complexion and the quality of my hair. My hair used to get really gross feeling after only about 12 hours, but now it stays pretty good for a few days at least. The only downside is that it loses its volume, but eh, I'd rather deal with that than have to get up early to take a shower every damn day.

I used to shower every work day and sometimes on weekends, but there's no way I could go back to that now. I'd probably do a Mon/Wed/Fri schedule at most.
