If it were possible to make money betting on people's careers I would buy stock in the black astrophysicist Neil Degrasse Tyson. He's kind of Carl Sagany in that he's great at explaining things to non-scientists. Here's a video of him talking about asteroids. He has a good everyman sense of OH MY GOD HOLY MOTHERFUCKING UNDYING FUCK THE UNIVERSE which is why if you've watched anything on PBS in the past five years you've probably seen him.

Einstein isn't really the person to blame for the bomb, and also A) he was a major contributor to quantum mechanics which among other things is directly responsible for the transistors in, well, everything, and B) he was colossally anti-authoritarian and had very sincere social and moral opinions that you would find respectable.
