God, that post is so terribly written. For some reason, I decided that referring to the transfer to energy of all the matter in the universe as UNZIPPING was so brilliant that I repeated it five or six times.

And then there's the inconsistent quoting of the word "explode."

And that's just the tip of the ice berg! I really need to focus way way harder than this!

Anyway, it's pretty obvious that Chris Benoit was not on steroids at all, but that DURING A WRESTLING MATCH IN JAPAN, the slow conversion of matter to radiation linked itself to his brain which slowly started turning it into energy and forced him to kill his family and himself so their bodies would decompose and turn into energy faster.

Does anybody know if they were cremated or not?

If not, something did not go accordian to plan.

You will now post the words:

I would like this thread locked, please.

I will then lock this thread.

In return, you will neither be banned nor killed for those last two posts.

There's no fucking way Obama will win FL and NV. There's like to democrats to speak of anywhere here. Even the younger adults are voting for McCain. Honestly, I never even met a democrat in Florida, period.

Actually seeing a semi-cloaked spaceship the size of a football stadium REALLY challenges my views on how complete our "science department" actually is.

Looking back, my philosophy teacher is completely wrong that aliens don't at all affect philosophical principals.

But when people dismiss the paranormal categorically, it really is wrong and comes off as backwards philosophy to me.

There are crazy implications with a simple perspective change.

Big Fagot schooled me on physics. It turns out that scientists were not afraid that all the matter in the universe would turn to energy. They were afraid that earth's atmosphere would combust because oxygen and hydrogen can combust at high temperatures.

Actually, the idea that the entire universe would turn to energy is ridiculous because fission only generates energy with radioactive substances. For anything with an atomic number lower than that of lead, it requires more energy to split the atom than the atom will yield.

Which means actually, they didn't use hydrogen because hydrogen would not have worked.

Also, a neutron is not a proton linked to an electron. While this is an attractive theory in some respects, the mass of a neutron does not equal the mass of a proton and an electron combined. I apparently had a very bad highschool physics teacher.

It has been established that I'm a gigantic faggot and that this thread, along with the Super Troopers thread, is an embarassingly ham-handed attempt to get the attention of Big Fagot, whom I commend for being passionate enough about science to go into an uncontrollable rage upon seeing such mind-boggling wrongness.

In the 1950s scientists were worried about the implications of nuclear experimentation. They were, at the time, shooting "ray guns" filled with electrons at giant collections of protons, developing weapon technology which to this day is a mystery. Also, they made use of neutrons and had scopes and discs which contained a myriad of all these particles, which they would wire together and attempt to create "energy". But the implication of this experimentation was that tampering with particles would cause the universe, or "God", to take a supernova energy shit on the solar system, and eventually reduce everything to shining hydrogen and pure essence. Future skeptics have hypothesized that this fear is the reason that Einstein's theory of relativity has caused such tunnel vision and closed-mindedness within the scientific community. Is this ghosts, Peter Jones?

BF is right about how fissioning lead is a bit of a paradox

But he forgot one other factor: fusion

H-bombs are created by causing hydrogent atoms to collide. They do it by heating the hell out of them (think Stars if it helps),

They are heated with fission reactions; ie they use a nuke to heat hydrogen to the point where it fuses.

Therefore the fission would cause gases to fuse and blow up shit.

fusion bombs are created by putting a buncha nukes around liquied hydrogen

In other words enough fission (nuke) reactions will cause hydrogen to fuse

Will there be a way to transfer energy without wires that would power a giant interdimensional vehicle?

What would have happened if the Viking settlement in Newfoundland had survived?

Would they have traded with the natives, and would they have expanded into North America? And would this have put the natives into a better position to not being taken over by Europeans?
Hell, the Viking could have even brought over a couple Old World diseases and killed off many aboriginals, but they would have had enough time to regrow their populations by the time the other Europeans showed up and they would now have a resistance to at least a couple new diseases.
