The opposite is true.
I don't understand how you can possibly think that Trader Joe's is CHEAPER than Safeway or Bi-Lo or whatever mainstream chain.
Unless you're a total dunce when it comes to skillful use of the Safeway Club Card, you're going to spend more at Trader Joe's for the same amount of food. |

| Trader Joe's is actually kind of half super-overpriced organic food and cheap non-organic food. Their produce is expensive but their frozen food is not at all. |

Admittedly I don't shop there very much, so there may be specific ways in which it is cheaper.
Ace is a Jew after all, so I probably have to give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to deals.

| I went to Chicago, and my friend Anne bought like twenty bottles of wine at Trader Joe's. She said they had good wine that was cheap. We brought it back to New Orleans and had a big party. It was so fun. My girlfriend at the time was trying to have sex with my room mate, but he was on too much heroin to perform. Sometimes I cry myself to sleep. |
