I liked the dance sequence in the credits but I bet that shit would wear really thin if I watched an actual Indian movie and had to watch 6 hours of it.

This movie was pretty overhyped. It's full of plot holes and completely nonsensical character development. It's gonna win a bunch of oscars like shitty movies always do. I hope Robert Downey Jr. wins for Tropic Thunder.

Also, what is the deal with those Indian mafia guys? They were so hokey and generic. The brother and the mafia guys were what really ruined the movie for me, because a lot of what they did seemed totally irrational and pointless.

They are two movies about kids/orphans growing up in poverty and the different direction their lives take: one in crime, the other who is able to find escape, all with the backdrop of a changing city environment.

The movies are very alike!
