Linux is basically immune to 99 percent of viruses/adware on the internet

Also, it comes with firefox and a list/search engine of downloads so you dont have to go searching for everything on the internet

Also, there is a windows emulator application (WINE) in case you should want to use windows applications for whatever dumb reason

Also, if my old beat up computer could handle an OS change, so can yours
