How does everyone else at FTU reconcile the fact that the administrators are consistently lazy, incompetent and undeserving?

THIS is how we know each other, this is how we all associate as friends, more or less. How is it comprehensible that these three should have power that everyone else does not; what have they ever done to warrant it, and why should we relate to one another under this dynamic which would destroy any kind of small community in real life?

I mean, people don't think about how incredibly different the forum must appear to those who have been in power for eight years. You don't realize it either.

But, like I said, if I were friends with a person who had the power to override any decision I made, silence me at will or simply banish me from his presence without even the slightest reason other than "That must be sad for you," why on Earth would I stick around him?

I kind of see what you're saying, but I can't imagine anyone outside of THE THREE who should actually be given admin-level power. Absolutely not you, in any case. And not judging by things you did in 2000, but by things you did TODAY, and would certainly do if you could.

Yogurtman is basically the perfect admin. He does lots of the shit work, doesn't post much, doesn't fuck with things, and is highly stable emotionally.

Big Fagot I guess deserves it, because it's good to have a FUNNYMAN behind the scenes who will do a little more than Yogurtman/make new CTs, etc. Plus, he has a genetic right to the THRONE, since it all descends from the original Fagtown (I relinquished my claim when DBZU got destroyed and I opted not to make a new board).

If anyone shouldn't be admin, it's Seru. I mean, what the fuck? Why Seru? Why still?

I don't think that any more or less than three people should be admin, but I think maybe that third spot ought to be rotated. It's high time a certain #1 BITCH took a hike.

As far as online "friends", that's such a different thing than meatspace friends that you can't really try to draw parallels between the two situations. It's also a huge assumption (and incorrect one at that) that such an arrangement would "destroy" a real life group. Weird power imbalances exist in plenty of relationships.

Ultimately though, I think I agree with Big Fagot, about this thread. And also, who cares. I don't have to "reconcile" anything.

Granted, I would be better than Peter and Clint, but that's beside the point.

Peter has absolutely no right to be admin, and I personally have done more positive things for the board than the three of them combined, also.
