Jason, if you don't like this thread, you don't have to read it.
But if you don't read it, I would appreciate it if you didn't respond to it either.

I am perfectly aware that the eight or nine people who read what I write on this board are not particularly interested in me as a person right now, as evidenced by the comparable lack of activity in my journal thread compared to my threads about other people. If you were observant, you'd also notice that I stopped posting in the main forum and started posting almost exclusively in this forum out of fear that my presence in the main forum was spawning a mass migration.

I also realize that this kind of frank self-assessment takes most of the fun out of insulting me, and is therefor a potential thread killer.

It's called self-indulgence. I TRUST you've heard of it.

Vinny, it's not intentional. I go through alternating periods of manic spontaneity and sober analysis, the kind that anybody in the right mood could easily call stating the obvious. SPITE has been playing live a lot lately, so I get most of my manic spontaneity out there.

Which basically makes it impossible via paradox for me to be a good poster, but I'm not going to try to figure out the logic.

I think Calvin is more like the absence of funny, whereas Ace is actually more aggressively UNfunny.

So it's no surprise that people would prefer a relatively nice guy who isn't hilarious to some guy that constantly tries to incite some invisible laugh track in the most spectacularly unsuccessful ways possible.

I don't really have much against Ace at this point either, though, don't get me wrong.

The only person I hate right now is Clotho.

I hate to use this a criterion to give anyone a pass, but Servbot is a nice guy and I don't feel the need to flame him constantly anymore. I'm pretty sure when he first came to the board I would read everyone of his posts and explode in volcanic fury, which resulted in me killfiling him for a bit. After that, things got OK.
