Does anyone remember a RPG on the Playstation where it's you and this little creature (who may be able to eat things, and maybe transform)? I think those are the only two permanent party members, but you can also find living toys that will fight in battle for a couple of turns. I can't remember the name of it.

Also, I'm getting a FC Twin (plays both NES and SNES games), what are some good games I should look out for at swap meets and other places?

Castlevania III and Dragon Warrior II are two of them though Sad

You're probably talking about Azure Dreams. You start with you one monster who helps you, and you can catch other monsters in the tower. This game sucked.

You could also possibly be talking about Jade cocoon, which also sucks, but it sounds more like azure dreams.

I'm fairly surprised this isn't Azure Dreams. Well I can't think of any other ps1 rpgs that really fit the description.

I don't know, it's probably pretty obscure by now, and I don't know how well known it was at the time.

I was thinking it was something like Knight's Quest (or tale or something), but it seems like that'd be a silly name for it.
