I am currently acquiring the newest album by The Sword! They are an amazing band and everyone should give them at least a listen. It's also an interesting bit of trivia that I learned about them from a FTU post. I think it was by Triple Life.

They constantly compare them to Sabbath, and I guess you can see influences from their Vol. 4 days in a few songs. Regardless of influence, they are a great band and their two albums are thus far pretty good!

I just noticed their MySpace doesn't have Winter's Wolves or Lament for the Aurochs. What a shame.

I like how "Iron Swan" sounds exactly the way you'd expect a song called "Iron Swan" to sound.

I'm starting to see where they're getting the Black Sabbath comparisons. When it goes into the heavy part, it sounds a lot like "War Pigs" at first.
