I know a lot of you have sinus problems. I never have before, but I woke up on Saturday with a bruise around my left eye like I had been punched there (I wasn't!). On Monday one of my professors commented on it (I know, so rude!) and I said no I didn't get in a fight and no I hadn't been drinking, I don't know where it came from, and another student said her brother sometimes gets that because of his sinuses. I am a little congested up there and it seems like the most reasonable explanation, but I was curious if any of you have ever gotten it!

I've had multiple sinus surgeries and I've had more sinus infections than any human on earth.

I've never had a bruise on my face because of any of that stuff, though. Maybe you're just a mutant.

Anyways
1. I don't have any serious sinus pain. I went from nothing to the bruise and a little pressure in my nose. I think it's just the shape of my face!
2. The professor is a very spunky old lady and I don't really know what topics are OFF LIMITS for Italian people. They're different from us!
3. I originally read Peter's post as "tiny piece of dust too much for baby" and it was way funnier.

I have a lot of sinus problems, but I've never had bruising.

I'm on two different nasal sprays, twice a day. That seems to keep things under control for most of the time. But I still get at least two deathly sinus infections a year no matter what I do, with other smaller "episodes" of general interest fever/congestion/discomfort scattered throughout the rest of the year.

I went to an allergist, and he said I might have a combination of allergic and nonallergic rhinitis, since the symptoms aren't helped entirely with just the nasonex., or some such reasoning.

But both of the sprays are specifically for allergies so yeah I have no idea.
