Crouch on the lower left side platform and use the scythe. Once you figure that out, the hard part is not fucking up with the magnet shit.

I found the hammer more useful than the scythe. I tried the axe a few times but that just makes the fight last forever.

Hammer is better because like half the mobs in the game die in one hit. Plus the special on double hammer is probably the best.

I can see why they didn't advertise this game... at all. It feels more like a beta for a bigger, better Castlevania game.
