I've never been to Kansas
I'll say Kansas, because maybe the most refined Texas barbecue masters got tired of Texas and moved to Kansas, the land of comparative refinement |

Eric Johnson is extremely famous and popular among guitarists, and also has a song in Guitar Hero.
Is Chris Isaak from Texas? Where in Texas are ZZ Top from? Shit, so many musicians come from Texas.

| ZZ Top is definitely very very good, though I prefer their earlier albums. |

Hey, ALDP, the point is Eric Johnson is the MOST noteable musician out of Austin (yet you still have to be an afficianado to know who he is), which is pretty bad for a city claiming to be a music capital.
Probably every major city has at least one person more notable/famous/talented than Eric.
Connecticut has no major cities, but its small enough to qualify as one. Michael Bolton, 50 Cent, and Paul Simon are all from Connecticut, all who are undeniably notable blah blah
I know its not a fair ADJUSTMENT, yet its still a valid point. What, is Connecticut the music capital of the US now? |
