I know what event it is that you're talking about, Yogurtman. Mexico has someone participating in that! Technically, a bunch of people walk 9 laps around a specific area close to the main stadium, and in the final one they walk one last lap around the Olympic track before finishing.

This sport is more complicated than it looks! Apparently you have to walk in a specific way (with your heels coming entirely in contact with the ground or something like that) or you get penalties that eventually lead to disqualifications. One of our racewalkers lost the gold medal like that in Athens!

I wish they could broadcast more Judo events here.
